How AlumierMD skin peels treatment works?

A Chemical peel treatment removes the damaged outer layers of the skin inducing exfoliation, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion. Chemical peels can also thicken the epidermis, increase dermal volume and stimulate collagen. Chemical peels are usually performed on the face, but may also be used on the neck, décolleté, back and hands.

How many AlumierMD skin peels treatments are necessary?

Beautiful skin doesn’t happen overnight. A single chemical peel can provide the immediate effect of bright and radiant skin. However, more significant results in treating textural issues, fine lines and inflamed acne take time. A course of 4 to 6 treatments followed by regular maintenance will deliver a longer lasting, sustainable results.

How does AlumierMD Treatment feel?

During treatment you may feel a tingling/warming sensation which subsides after a few minutes - most clients like this sensation as they can feel the treatment working! The skin may feel tight and begin to shed a few days later, this may last for 2-7 days. You may experience a purge of toxins causing blemishes but this will clear and reduce with each treatment.

Are there any side effects to AlumierMD Treatment

The Chemical peel causes trauma to the epidermis which can induce mild peeling or occasionally pigment changes which can be circumvent through our AlumierMD skin expert, introducing the exfoliation gradually.
