About Radiofrequency Microneedling

Focus Dual is a new treatment that achieves skin tightening, lifting, firming, and contouring. Focus Dual uses micro needling or a combination of radiofrequency and microneedling to create a controlled trauma to the skin, which triggers the body’s healing response of collagen and elastin production. Both technologies used in this treatment stimulate collagen in different ways.

Our Process

Utilising superfine ‘micro’ needles for safe, precise, and more comfortable treatments the surface of the skin is punctured, enabling a healing response, to help improve a variety of skin concerns. The radiofrequency energy directs heat to the more superficial dermis and epidermis stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. The heat zones created helps with collagen induction, which begins to remodel and strengthen collagen cells to tighten the skin. By inducing thermal trauma to stimulate neocollagenesis (collagen production) in deep layers of the skin, creates stronger, firmer, and more lifted skin to help with concerns such as wrinkles and laxity. 
With Focus Dual you will be receiving two treatments in one, meaning that you will achieve a stronger treatment and more effective results than when compared to having microneedling and radiofrequency treatments individually. The results give you firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted skin. 

Depending on which area and concern we are treating appointments can last between 15 minutes to 90 minutes

Results can be seen after one treatment however 3 to 6 treatments at 3 – 4 week intervals are recommended for best results.

With Focus Dual we can treat all skin types through the ability to adjust not only the needle depth but also the power of radiofrequency energy delivered in your treatment. This technology enables us to deliver effective treatments suitable for your different skin concerns, for all skin types.

Most clients notice an improvement after 2 to 3 weeks of the initial treatment. Results are natural and get better over time as your skin responds,  peaking at 12 weeks following treatment.

There is virtually no downtime, a slight swelling and redness can be experienced immediately which should subside. Skin can flake post-treatment.
